Phil is a steel and aluminium sector specialist with over 40 years’ experience in the area of ferrous metals and metal processing industries. He has hands-on operational and management experience as well as extensive consultancy record across most technologies used in the steel and aluminium industry. He is a Chartered Engineer, a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor at the Department of Engineering of the University of Surrey, a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Mining and Minerals. He has led numerous due diligence assignments, feasibility studies, process design, project management and lender’s technical advisory assignments across the full spectrum of metal production and processing facilities around the globe.
