Industrial Consultant: Copper, Zinc, Lead
Mike is a specialist in the operation and process design of pyrometallurgical plant (non-ferrous metals and industrial minerals) and the associated mineral processing and refining operations. He had 20 years’ operational experience in copper, lead and zinc production in Zambia and Australia followed by 19 years in engineering design at Aker Kvaerner. His particular expertise is in copper, lead and zinc smelter operations. He has acted as technical adviser on numerous feasibility studies, due diligence assignments and modernisation projects worldwide for industrial facilities, lenders and development banks. He is a Chartered Engineer, holds an MA (Cantab) in metallurgy and is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
